Berkely Arrants is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She is the Founder of Horizon Advisory Group, LLC, a national personal and business financial planning and wealth management firm.
Berkely believes that clients need to be well-informed about the important decisions they face, not only for themselves but also for those who depend upon them. She works hard to educate her clients so that they have the confidence to move forward with plans that fit their specific situation. Her areas of expertise include retirement planning, investment management, and estate planning. She also works with closely-held businesses to help them with transition planning, employee retention, and executive benefits.
Berkely is a trusted advisor who is dedicated to her clients' financial success. She is known for her clear communication style, her ability to simplify complex financial concepts, and her commitment to helping her clients achieve their goals.
She grew up in London, UK, and returned to the United States for college, where she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Psychology. Berkely has been involved in several Boards over the years including Volunteers in Medicine, the First Presbyterian Day School, The Houston Children’s Chorus, The University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Houston, and she was an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Hilton Head.
Outside of work, Berkely is devoted to her family and her community. She and her husband, Wayne, have two adult children, Tucker and Devin. She practices yoga regularly and loves to travel and spend time outdoors.

Angelique Ayala is a comprehensive financial planner. She understands that preparing for that next step in life isn’t always easy. Her combination of experience, professionalism and resources help meet her clients’ financial goals, estate strategies and insurance needs. Whether their goals include preparing for milestone life events like retirement or college, or simply looking for life, disability income or long-term care insurance protection, she promises a new level of attention, insight, and capability.
Angelique is a graduate from George Mason University with a major in finance and a minor in economics. Angelique got into the financial planning industry because she has personally seen the impact that a lack of financial education can have on a family. She wishes to educate those around her so they can make educated financial decisions toward reaching their goals.
Angelique is a native to Northern Virginia and currently lives in Centreville, VA with her two dogs, Anna and Tigre. In her spare time, she loves to be outside enjoying nature and getting exercise. She also loves spending time with friends and family and enjoys traveling to other countries to experience different cultures.

Stephanie was raised with a private school education, lived in a beautiful part of Baltimore and spent summers at Rehobeth Beach in Delaware. She never wanted for much and her parents drilled into her the importance of doing for others. When her father retired, her parents dreamed of traveling and thought they would pass early on like their parents did. However, they were in for a big surprise. Her father developed a long drawn out disease and her mother had dementia. Financially, they did not plan properly for retirement nor were they prepared for the long-term illnesses that befell them. They had worked hard raising Stephanie and her two siblings but did not have the proper guidance to invest in their own future and their last days.
Stephanie has made it her mission to educate people on the importance of planning for their dreams.
She has been a business owner for over 25 years. She is passionate about helping people, in particular women, small business owners, executives, and dentists. She focuses on ongoing financial planning, retirement income, business planning, tax planning strategies and portfolio analysis and review. Stephanie is committed to her clients’ values, dreams, and goals.
In her free time, she is Vice Chair of the Board at Dandelion Meadow, an endeavor to help women who are victims of addiction and human trafficking. She is a highly active member of St Paul’s Episcopal Church and helped found their outreach program Love For Children. She enjoys gardening, hiking, travel, and spending time in the Virginia mountains. She lives in Sharpsburg, MD with my husband and two twin children.

Dedra developed a passion for financial literacy after taking an elective course on financial planning while attending the University of Texas, where she got her BS in Radio Television and Film. She fell in love with the Wall Street Journal and Louis Rukeyser and spent the next several years reading everything she could get her hands on to further her financial education.
Dedra began her career in the financial services industry in 2000 with Charles Schwab. She moved to Houston in 2006 to work for a Houston-based financial services firm and joined Horizon Advisory Group in 2013 to provide administrative support. Personally and professionally, she’s seen the devastating consequences of not having a financial plan. Her compassion, attention to detail, and organization allows her to make a positive impact on the lives of clients and contributing to their financial well-being.
Dedra is a native Texan with roots in South Texas. In her free time, Dedra enjoys writing, creating art and hanging out with her beloved cat, Bevo Kitty Longhorn III. Dedra also volunteers with The Women’s Resource of Greater Houston as part of her mission to help women understand and improve their relationship with money.
